Nigerian Entrepreneur & Co-founder of Kippa, Jephtah Uche, Joins Forbes Technology Council
Forbes Technology Council is an invitation-only organization for senior-level technology executives. Members selected by the Forbes Technology Council’s review committee are chosen for the depth and diversity of their experience and a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements.
Jephtah Uche, Co-founder of Kippa Cash, has recently been selected to join Forbes Technology Council, where he will work collaboratively with other tech experts and talents from around the world and raise awareness about Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.
His role also includes assisting in promoting the socio-economic impacts of innovative Nigerian tech solutions while highlighting the sector’s challenges through his network with other industry professionals.
Kippa Cash is an app where small business owners can keep track of their daily income and transactions, manage inventory, and generally monitor how their businesses ebb and flow over time. Kennedy Ekezie (graduate at the University of Calabar, Nigeria), Duke Ekezie, and Jephtah Uche, co-founded Kippa Cash and raised $3.2 million in pre-seed funding. This shows his progressive impact in building innovative solutions to Africa’s pressing challenges.
Jephtah has also built a conversational AI software for healthcare patients with MOBicure, a healthcare firm. He has worked in different roles as a software and product engineer.
In his induction, Jephtah Chidozie-Uche said: “I am honoured to join the Forbes Technology Council and proud to be invited to join a community that includes visionary technology leaders that I admire. I am looking forward to representing the Nigerian tech community and highlighting Africa’s proprietary technologies on a global scale. Nigeria is the biggest tech hub on the continent, home to some of the most innovative and talented minds in technology, solving some of the most crucial socio-economic issues of our time. Yet across Africa, the tech sector still faces a number of systemic barriers to development. Through the network with Forbes Technology Council, I hope to stimulate conversation about the actions we can take to better support the technology sector in emerging markets like Nigeria.”
“We’re honoured to welcome Jephtah into the group,” stated Scott Gerber, Founding father of Forbes Councils, the collective that features Forbes Know-how Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”
